1.Tell us a bit about your business journey, how you came about deciding what to sell and how you got started?
We started as a printing company. We print custom designs for our customers. After doing it for while, we created our own brand under the name Funthera in the year 2016. We decided to sell casual sportswear since it is something else. We started with a pre-order and proceed with ready stock products.
2.Can you share with us when and how did you make your first sale? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?
We made our first sale in January 2016 through Facebook. We used Facebook Ads to advertise our first product. Whatsapp generates the most traffic and sales for us followed by Facebook and website respectively.
3.Could you tell us how AVANA has helped your business? What features did you find most useful?
AVANA gives us a great website. It is user friendly. It is connected to Facebook and Messenger. Other than that, AVANA helps us to monitor the customers and our sales record. The payment channel provided also an advantage. The features that we find most useful is in the orders section. The database itself can be useful for us in the future.
4.What advice would you give to those who are planning to start an e-commerce business?
Do start. You must start somewhere and experience it yourself. The possibility in an e-commerce business is endless.
