When a potential customer browses through your shop, all they have to go by are your product images and descriptions. Great product descriptions will be a huge contributing factor to the sales of your online business. Here are 3 tips to help you do just that:
Tip #1 – Describe your product as if there were no pictures
You have to sell your products that the customer cannot physically touch and feel. You’ll want to be able to let the customer feel like they know exactly what they are paying for. Some information you’ll want to include will be such as weight, size, measurements and materials that the item is made of


Tip #2 – List the features that makes your product unique
What makes your product stand out from the rest? The product description is an ideal place to state that. For example, your product is made from 100% organic materials, which is a huge selling point to many potential customers


#3 – Share the story behind your work
This doesn’t only apply to the handmade community, as customers appreciate the attention to detail and effort that you put into your business. A brief personal story, such as handpicked items from around the globe could really add something special to your product description
