Good day to all of our Facebook sellers, we thank you for your continuous feedback, support and encouragement.
Starting from today we’re rolling out new major changes to the platform, in addition to the regular bug fixes.
1. New Facebook Store Layout
Facebook pages have gone through many new transformations since we’ve introduced Square.my Facebook stores, and we’re glad to move forward with these changes by releasing a new layout look for our Facebook Storefront.
Product image thumbnails are now larger, along with their size options, name or product and price
Similarly, we’ve also introduced a larger and cleaner design when viewing more info about the products
Upload your products in hi-res now for shoppers to mouse-over and view your products in more detail
And because shopping is largely a social event, we’ve introduced Facebook comments into all the Square Facebook stores. Customers and guests can comment on a product and it’ll be published on their friends’ newsfeed to create an even wider reach for your store
Shoppers can also add their favourite items from your store to a wishlist, which they can revisit later to purchase
Not to forget the checkout page, which is now simplified in its design to help shoppers shop better
2. Create Multiple Facebook Stores
We’re excited say that now we’ve made available the most requested feature from our sellers into your dashboard. Released as a premium feature, this is currently available to all of our beta users. When you login to your dashboard, you will see a new navigation bar at the top
When clicked, it will activate a drop down menu that allows you to select to view your existing shop or Add New Shop
If you select Add New Shop, you will be directed to the setup page (the same one that you used when setting up your current Facebook store)
Should you wish to do this at a later stage, click to cancel to return to your existing Facebook store’s dashboard
We hope that this new feature will help you to continue to grow all your existing online businesses!
